About Us

Changing the way organisations work so they better serve themselves, their communities and their environment.

Working in Trust (“WiT”) is a registered charity that is committed to promoting ethical principles in organisations for their own sustainable development and welfare of the communities within which they serve.

In particular, WiT seeks to improve an organisation’s ability to balance the interests of all its stakeholders. It seeks to build the capacity of an organisation to learn, to adapt and to care for others, whether it be staff, customers, investors, the local community or the planet. It does this through gathering examples of best practice in governance, sharing amongst a growing community interested in this subject and stimulating policy–makers and other decision-makers to think differently about how organisations work, and don’t work.
